Walking Distance
This lodging is a 10 minute walk to a white sandy beach in East Sooke Park, that is full of trails and scenic ocean views.
The world – famous hiking trails of East Sooke Regional Park are well-marked and considered to be one of the most scenic coastal trails in BC. Take a short hike to see the Petroglyphs (about 1 hour round-trip), or walk the loop around Creke Point back to the parking lot, or hike to the other end of the Park (about 4 – 8 hours depending). Arrange for pick-up at the other end.
Walk to the cafe on the beach at Becher Bay Marina to enjoy wonderful homemade breads, wholesome lunches, and a wide variety of coffees.
Tour an organic greenhouse. (Sooke Harbour House is one of our clients).
Tour a unique Japanese garden.
Charter an afternoon sailing trip or Marine Scenic Tour with your host Bill on board our 36′ Sailboat. (He usually drops a line!)
